New – page about the Seven Souls experiment of 1937

This new page by Kay Palmer describes the experiment conducted in 1937 by The Daily Mirror, in which seven strangers were confined together for a week in an Effingham cottage – treated as a place of sanctuary – to see how well they could deal with an escape from their normal daily lives. The page updates the presentation previously offered in the 2020 Exhibition. It can be accessed via the Village Events page under Discovery.
