About our Group
ABOUT OURSELVES
Our Group was formed in 2010 and held the first meeting on May 10th of that year. We now have several dozen members.
Our mission is to investigate the history of Effingham in Surrey and the surrounding areas and to collect and make accessible to our community relevant documents, photographs and oral testimonies.

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
Application for membership is welcome from anyone interested in taking part in the Group’s activities. The charge for annual single membership is £25 and for annual household membership £35. To apply, please contact the Group’s Secretary as detailed below. Membership entitles you not only to attend our meetings but also to have access to our extensive archives and to receive copies of our biannual publication The Bulletin.
