Our Group was formed in 2010 and held the first meeting on May 10th of that year. We now have several dozen members.

Our mission is to investigate the history of Effingham in Surrey and the surrounding areas and to collect and make accessible to our community relevant documents, photographs and oral testimonies.

A fuller statement is contained in our Constitution.
