Compilation of Images and Notes

The “Great Storm” or “Hurricane” that blasted England in October 1987 caused severe damage to trees and property in Effingham. We have a few photographs showing the local damage.

This compilation was assembled in April 2011 using such images and facts about the event as we possessed at that time.
