LIVES – NICHOLAS & AUDREY WATERHOUSE

Researched and written by Jeremy Palmer.

Sir Nicholas Edwin Waterhouse, a prominent accountant and philatelist, and his first wife Audrey, accomplished musician, composer and philanthropist, together provided warm hospitality and generous support to many key figures in the Arts, making their home at Norwood Farm a well regarded hub of artistic and social activity. They also contributed significantly to the Effingham community, just one example being their substantial donation towards the purchase of the KGV Playing Fields.
